To prevent the spread of the COVID-19 ahead of the 2022 Christmas and New Year celebrations, the Badung Police invited hotel and restaurant managers to attend a meeting on Wednesday (12/22/2021).
The tourism actors were asked not to hold a party or celebration of fireworks that could lead to new clusters of Covid-19 spread.
This coordination meeting took place in Badung Police Office.
According to Police Chief Dedy Defretes, his party held a joint declaration with hotels and restaurants before the Christmas holidays of December 25, 2021, and New Year’s Eve 2022.
It was agreed by the hotel and restaurant not to hold parties or fireworks parties celebrations before New Year’s Eve. This agreement follows the regulation of Minister of Home Affairs No. 66 of 2021 and the circular letter of the Governor of Bali No. 20 in 2021.
This agreement is valid from December 24 till January 2.
Dedy Defretes explained that his party had also prepared a Service Post and Integrated Post at the entrance of the Mengwi Terminal for the holidays. And, also the security post in the Petitenget area of Seminyak, North Kuta, Badung.
In addition, his party also supervises health protocols in the coastal tourism area in Badung.
