Implementing the 2022 G20 Presidency series has started today, Wednesday (9/12/2021) at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) in Nusa Dua area, Bali.
Head of the Communications Department of Bank Indonesia Erwin Haryono revealed that the Finance and Central Bank Deputies Meeting (FCBD) will be opened today.
The FCBD will last for two days, 9-10 December 2021 and will be attended by delegates from 20 G20 member countries and international institutions such as the World Bank, IMF, OECD, and others. The meeting will be held in a hybrid way, both offline and online at the same time.
Erwin explained that Nusa Dua area of Bali today was closely monitored and guarded.
“There are 315 police personnel on duty for today’s FCBD implementation,” Erwin explained.
The delegates who will arrive at BNDCC are required to do antigen swabs in every series of events that take place.
Two other meetings will be held in February and July 2022. In addition, meetings will be held at the Working Group level to discuss various programs and agreements. The G20 Forum will conclude with a World Leaders Summit, which is scheduled to be held in October 2022.
