The Central Government canceled the Level 3 Community Activity Restriction (PPKM) policy during Christmas and New Year. However, for Domestic Travel Actors the rules will still be tightened, including for those who visit the Bali area.
The head of the Bali Civil Service Police Unit, Dewa Nyoman Rai Dharmadi, said that the Level 3 PPKM that had been discussed differed from before. There is a tightening for Domestic Travel Actors, but the tourist objects are still open.
“The entry and exit of tourists stays tight and the tightness is measurably controlled, the crowd is controlled,” said Darmadi on Tuesday (7/12).
Even though PPKM Level 3 was canceled, his party reminded officers not to slack off and neglect to supervise the community. So that health protocols are still adhered to.
He also confirmed that even though PPKM Level 3 was canceled, fireworks on New Year’s Eve were still prohibited. Because there is a potential for crowds and activities at nightclubs in Bali, they will be monitored.
“There will be no fireworks. For club activities that night, we monitor that there are no crowds,” he said.
The Bali police asked nine regencies and cities to collaborate with pecalang, the TNI, and Polri and Community Protection officers to monitor possible activities that cause crowds.
“We can effectively assign over 1,000. Later, there will also be circulars to districts and cities to take action on monitoring and supervision.
