The road connecting Tamanbali Village to Guliang Kangin, Bangli, collapsed. As a result, the road that goes through to the Gianyar area is now risky for vehicles to pass because half of the road is broken.
Head of the Highways Division of the Bangli Public Works Spatial Planning, Housing and Settlement Area Division, I Wayan Legha Suprapto said the length of the collapsed road shoulder was 20 meters, with a depth of almost 50 meters.
“There were no casualties in the disaster, indeed there were workers who were working to widen the road,” said Legha, confirmed, Tuesday (11/30/2021).
He said the landslide on the shoulder of the road, apart from the road that could not be passed by four-wheeled vehicles, also disrupted the irrigation canal underneath. Related to this, his party claimed to have conducted a study at the location. Which, repairing this road requires a lot of money.
“The location of the breakdown is a chasm, so to strengthen the road, it is necessary to make a DPT from the bottom. We will coordinate this with the leadership, considering this road is in the construction stage,” he concluded.
