Secretary of the Covid-19 Task Force, I Made Rentin, explained that in accelerating the handling of the pandemic, the Government has made efforts to vaccinate the public.
1.260.613 persons received the first vaccine and the second vaccine – 587.269 persons. When referring to the vaccination target in Bali of 3 million people, this achievement has already reached 42 percent, for the first vaccination. However, for complete vaccination only 19 percent.
Rentin explained 2.684.740 doses of vaccine were distributed in Bali. Currently, there are still 836.858 doses of vaccines remaining.
The cumulative number of confirmed cases is 47.124 people, recovered 44.912 people (95.31 percent), and died 1.495 people (3.17 percent).
Rentin explained that in preventing the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the Governor of Bali has issued Circular Letter Number 07 of 2021 concerning the Extension of the Restriction of Village / Village Based Community Activities in the New Era of Life in Bali Province, valid from 23 March 2021 until further notice.
“Other things that are regulated, among others, activities in restaurants/stalls and the like for on-site services are carried out at a maximum of 50 percent of normal capacity, operating hours are limited to 22.00 while still implementing strict health protocols,” he said.
