Italian Citizen in Kuta Was Attacked While Cleaning Garbage

The persecution incident took place on Jl Camplung Tanduk, Number 200X, Seminyak, Kuta, Badung. The victim is a foreign national from Italy named Federico (47).

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kuta Police, Iptu Made Putra Yudistira, confirmed the persecution case.

Based on police data, the middle-aged man suffered a fracture in his left leg after being tortured by an unknown person. The incident took place in front of the Cosebelle Multiconcept Store, Seminyak.

Federico was cleaning the yard of his house on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at around 16.00.

He ordered workers to help to clean and hired a truck to carry garbage.
Not long after, an unknown person came and was about to cross the road in front of the victim’s house on a motorbike.

The person then got angry because the road was blocked by the truck that the victim had rented. The perpetrator hung the victim onto the asphalt. Federico, who looked helpless, was choked from behind and again slammed onto the asphalt, causing the Italian foreigner to suffer injuries and fractures of his left leg.

Based on the CCTV footage, the perpetrator of the persecution appeared to be wearing a red shirt.

The incident was broken up by residents who saw the incident. The perpetrator left, and the victim was taken to the hospital.

The brother of the victim immediately reported the incident to the Kuta Police.
