The government has updated the terms or conditions for domestic travel during the Covid-19 pandemic. Travel either by air, land, or sea.

Coordinator of the Covid-19 Handling Task Force Expert Team Wiku Adisasmito said the conditions for this latest trip were contained in Task Force 12/2021 Circular (SE). This provision replaced the previous SE Number 7 of 2021.

“Here we have the latest travel provisions which will be effective starting April 1, 2021,” he said at the Covid-19 Handling Task Force Coordination Meeting, Sunday (28/3/2021).

Wiku explained that this arrangement was made by the government to prevent an increase in Covid-19 cases during the long holiday period in the country.

“In the holidays last year, the increase was high for daily cases and weekly deaths. And our learning process is so that this incident does not happen again this year and in the future,” he explained.
