To anticipate criminal acts of theft, violence, snatching, robbery, and disturbances of security and public order, the Bali Police held joint Street Crime Patrols at several vulnerable points, on Saturday (27/3/2021) night.
This activity involved the Mobile Brigade Unit, Directorate of Samapta, Directorate of Intelligence and Security, Directorate of Traffic, Directorate of Criminal and Police Reskrimum, and Denpasar Police.
Police Chief Commissioner Firman Nainggolan explained, that there are several critical points of attention. Namely Jln. Sunset Road, Kuta, Teuku Umar, Denpasar and Jalan Gatot Subroto, Denpasar.
He emphasized, the target of Patrol activities is for people who are still out at night in this micro-scale PPKM situation and also motorbike riders whose motorbike exhaust does not meet standards.
“In the active patrols tonight, there are still people who roam at night and motorbikes who still use noisy exhausts,” he said.
Firman Nainggolan said that in the future he will routinely carry out street crime patrols.
“This is sustainable and will continue to be carried out both on weekdays and certain days,” he said.
