Immigration Class, I Special TPI Ngurah Rai deported from Bali a Russian citizen, Ekaterina Trubkina, a partner of Interpol fugitive.
“The deportation of Ekaterina was carried out because it met the requirements. She was deported on Friday (19/3), at around 21.35 from Soekarno-Hatta Airport and then flew to her country by Turkish Airlines,” said the Head of the Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Bali Province, Jamaruli Manihuruk, on Sunday (21/3).
Ekaterina Trubkina was deported after being found to have helped a Russian Interpol fugitive named Andrew Ayer alias Andrei Kovalenko escape while undergoing an examination at the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office on Thursday (11/02) at 13:20.
Andrew Ayer is an Interpol fugitive who is included in the red notice.
The man has previously served a criminal sentence in the Class IIA Kerobokan prison for narcotics cases.
Previously, the Bali Police Resmob and Ngurah Rai Immigration officers arrested two fugitives from Russia named Andrew Ayer alias Andrei Kovalenko and Ekaterina Trubkina on (24/2) at 01.30, at a villa in the North Kuta area, Badung Regency, Bali.
