127 Thousand Balinese Have Been Vaccinated

Covid-19 vaccination is continuing and is now targeting public service workers. Of the 4,32 million people in Bali, 127 thousand have received the Covid-19 vaccine.

This was expressed by the Deputy Governor of Bali Prof. Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati (Cok Ace) while monitoring the implementation of Covid-19 vaccination for financial and banking industry workers which was held at the Bank Indonesia Building, Bali Province, Jalan Letda Tantular Number 4 Denpasar, Saturday (20/3). This is the second stage of vaccination for 300 participants and the first stage of vaccination for 500 participants.

According to Cok Ace, the number of Balinese who have received vaccinations is still small when compared to the total population of 4,32 million people.

“Our people are enthusiastic, vaccination officers are also sufficient. However, in terms of speed of implementation of vaccination, we must adjust to the arrival of vaccine supplies from the center, ” he explained.

In keeping with the enthusiasm shown by Balinese manners in the vaccination program, the Bali Provincial Government continues to seek additional vaccines from the center so that the vaccination target of the Balinese population to realize group immunity can be achieved as soon as possible.

Deputy Governor Cok Ace welcomed the enthusiasm of the financial industry workers and banking officials in supporting the successful implementation of the vaccination program in the Bali area.
