A case of theft that targeted the residence of a foreigner from the Netherlands happened on Jalan Sedap Malam, Gang Tunjung Biru in Denpasar.

The victim Paul Verdoes (65) suffered a loss of up to IDR 120.000.000.

The theft occurred on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at around 14.00.

Paul and his wife were going to buy food. At around 12.00, the victim left the house on his Honda Scoopy motorcycle.

Two hours later, at 14.00, the victim came home and entered the room.

When he opened the door to the room, he was surprised to see that the room was in a mess, even when he checked his belongings.

Dozens of gold jewelry and cash that belonged to him disappeared. They were taken by the perpetrator who presumably came by climbing the walls of his house.
