In January 2021, the export value of goods from Bali Province abroad was recorded to have decreased by 15,99 percent month to month, from $ 41.996.560 in December 2020 to $ 35.279.255 in January 2021.

This was conveyed by the Head of the Bali Province Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Hanif Yahya during the release of the Bali Province BPS Official Statistics News on Monday, March 1, 2021.

According to him, when compared to January 2020 on a year-on-year basis, Bali’s export value in January 2021 was recorded to have decreased by 24,29 percent.

“Of the top five export destination countries for Bali in January 2021, the value of exports to China has increased month to month, which is as high as 70,95 percent.

And this increase is mainly due to the increase in exports of fish and shrimp products, “said Hanif Yahya.

In line with Bali’s exports, the import performance of Bali Province in January 2020 also showed a decline.

Meanwhile, the import value of goods from Bali Province from abroad in January 2021 was recorded at $ 4.872.950, down 1,85 percent compared to December 2020 on a month-to-month basis which was recorded at $ 4.964.773.

“On a year-on-year basis, the import value of Bali Province in January 2021 was recorded to have decreased by 78,95 percent. Then of the top five countries of origin for imports in January 2021, the import value from Taiwan was recorded to have increased by hundreds of percent, namely 138,12 percent respectively. month to month which was mainly due to the increase in imports of various chemical products, “he said.

Previously it was reported, the Head of the Bali Province Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Hanif Yahya said that there were only 10 foreign tourists who came directly to Bali Province in January 2021.

“The number of foreign tourists to Bali Province in January 2021 has decreased by 93,33 percent compared to the record in December 2020 on a month-to-month basis.

Meanwhile, the Room Occupancy Rate of star hotels in January 2021 was recorded at 11,15 percent, or a decrease of 7,85 points compared to the ROR for December 2020 on a month-to-month basis which was only recorded at 19,00 percent.

According to Hanif Yahya, when compared to January 2020 on a year-on-year basis which reached 59,29 percent, the room occupancy rate in January 2021 was recorded to have dropped by 48,14 points.

Meanwhile, the ROR for non-star hotels was recorded at 6,70 percent, an increase of 1,35 points compared to December 2020.

“The average length of stay of foreign and domestic guests at star hotels in Bali in January 2021 was recorded at 3,50 days, an increase of 1,41 points compared to the achievement in December 2020 on a month-to-month basis which was recorded at 2,09 days.

And when compared with the achievement in January 2020 on a year-on-year basis, which was recorded at 2,82 days.

This figure has increased as high as 0,68 points, “said Hanif Yahya in the official release of the Bali Province BPS Statistics Official News on Monday, March 1, 2021.
