On Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at around 7:40 a.m. local time the corpse of a woman was found on Bingin Beach in South Kuta by residents.
The woman’s body was lying on her back on the sand of Bingin Beach.
The head of the female corpse was in an upward position and she was wearing a red skirt.
The woman’s body was evacuated to the Sanglah Government General Hospital (RSUP), Denpasar for further examination.
The officers did not yet know the identity of the tourist.
The Head of South Kuta Police Commissioner Yusak Agustinus Sooai said that the victim is supposed to be Chinese.
“The temporary allegations are that the victim is a foreigner from China,” he said on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.
