Various attempts have been made to make people aware of implementing health protocols (prokes) when on the move.
However, the fact is that there are still residents who violate the prokes. In fact, from the records of the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) of Badung Regency, prokes offenders are dominated by foreign nationals.
Head of Satpol PP Badung I Gusti Agung Ketut Suryanegara, said of the hundreds of prokes violations, 90 percent of them are foreigners. If you look at the data, during the first, second, and second phase PPKM and PPKM Mikro enforcement, 359 people got fines. 323 of them were foreigners and 36 were Indonesians.
“Foreigners have dominated so far. There were 90 percent of foreigners among the violations subject to a fine. During the first, second, and micro PPKM stages, we captured 323 foreigners who violated the health program, ”said Suryanegara, confirmed, Tuesday (16/2).
Various methods have been used to suppress violations committed by foreigners. Among other things, inviting to the immigration office, writing to the embassy/consulate, imposing increasingly massive fines, and imposing rapid antigen tests. However, it seems that foreigners do not just believe in the Covid-19 outbreak.
