The provincial government of Bali is targeting 663,169 people to participate in this second phase of the COVID vaccination.
The Head of the Bali Provincial Health Office, Ketut Suarjaya said that 663,169 targets consisted of 340,683 seniors, 79,185 educators, 75,757 market traders, 1,240 religious leaders, 411 members of Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah civil council, and 54,444 state civil servants. There are 23,201 security workers, 53,582 public service workers, 27,554 public transportation workers, 50 athletes, and 7,062 tourism, hotel, and restaurant officers.
These groups were selected as the most vulnerable ones because they are often in contact with the general public so they deserve to be a priority for getting vaccinated. Vaccinations will be carried out in early March.
